ANCHORAGE - A Coast Guard helicopter lifted four men in a life raft to safety after their 47-foot fishing boat sank in the Gulf of Alaska.
The Coast Guard says the four were found Wednesday three miles south of Montague Island.
They include 61-year-old Thomas Tomrdle, and his son 29-year-old Thomas Tomrdle, both of Kenai; 70-year-old James Hielala Sterling; and 34-year-old Jeremy Sullivan of Whittier.
A light diesel sheen was spotted where the boat went down.
