Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts, lost/found items:

A man, 40, reported about 8:30 a.m. Friday that two six-gallon gas cans were stolen from his skiff while parked in his yard on Glacierwood Drive. There were no leads or suspects.

A girl, 18, reported shortly after 11 p.m. Friday her black wallet containing identification and about $200 cash had been lost somewhere in Juneau.


A citizen reported shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday finding a stranger passed out in his Thunder Mountain Road residence. A man, 20, was placed under arrest for criminal trespass and minor consuming. He was transported to and released at his residence.


While responding to a disturbance shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday on Gee Street, police spoke to two boys, 16 and 15 years old, who had vandalized numerous mailboxes on Killewich, Gee, Sharon, Rivercourt, Meander and Turn Streets. A citizen source reported later in the day that mailboxes were also vandalized on Fritz Cove Road and Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Warrant arrests:

About 12:30 p.m. Friday, a man, 33, was arrested at a liquor store on South Franklin Street on an outstanding National Crime Investigative Center (NCIC) warrant charging breaking and entering, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods. The man was additionally charged with flight to avoid prosecution.
