ANCHORAGE - Two Anchorage men were arrested over the weekend in separate incidents on suspicion of raping women they met at downtown bars.
A 46-year-old woman met Robert Westcoast, 51, Friday night at a bar, said police spokeswoman Anita Shell, and went to Westcoast's home for drinks. When she refused to have sex, Westcoast pulled a knife and raped her, Shell said.
On her way out the door, the victim grabbed a bottle of pills that had Westcoast's name and address on the label, and called police.
Anchorage police charged Westcoast with sexual assault and assault.
On Saturday, a 30-year-old woman met Charles Stalker, 33, at another bar and went back to his home, Shell said.
Stalker's cousin saw Stalker raping the woman and called police, Shell said.
