Two teenage drivers were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital after their cars collided at about 2:20 p.m. at Egan Drive and Willoughby Avenue. An 18-year-old woman was driving a 1995 Mercury Sable on Willoughby and started to make a left turn onto Egan as a bus turned right onto Willoughby, according to police. The driver said she thought the lane on the opposite side of the bus was clear, but instead she collided with a 1989 Honda, driven by a 19-year-old woman. The driver of the Sable was cited for failure to yield after a stop to oncoming vehicles. The Sable sustained about $5,000 in damage and the Honda about $4,000.
