Bears complete season with 10-0 record against in-state competition

The Juneau-Douglas High School junior varsity boys soccer team wrapped up complete a perfect season against Alaska competition on Saturday.

The Crimson Bears defeated Ketchikan 4-1 on Saturday to finish 10-0 versus in-state teams. In total, Juneau's JV scored 44 goals and yielded just nine.

On Saturday, Vincente Alinson, Robin Woodby, Ben Weyhrauch and Victor Wilson notched the goals while Samin Peirovi, Cole Lendrum, Anthony Stewart and Ky Clark picked up the assists.

JDHS defeated Ketchikan 5-0 on Friday as Clark netted a hat trick with one assist.

Wilson added a goal and assist while Chris Hoffman found the net for the Bears.

On May 12, JDHS defeated Service 5-2 in Anchorage as Alinson had a goal and two assists.

Clark had one goal and one assist while Weyhrauch, Wilson and Aaron Badilla all scored goals.

JDHS blanked Palmer 6-0 on May 11 as Badilla scored three goals. Clark, Alinson and Hoffman had goals while Croteau had an assist. Weyhrauch and Hoffman added two assists each in the win.

On May 10, Alinson scored in the 58th minute to give JDHS a 1-0 win over West Anchorage.

JDHS kicked off its road trip on May 9 with a 5-2 triumph over Dimond.

Clark had three assists while Hoffman scored two goals. Alinson, Weyhrauch and Badilla had one goal each for JDHS.
