er reading his recent letter to the Empire on Assembly member conflicts of interest, it became clear to me Richard Schmitz has a conflict with the truth. For the record, Mr. Schmitz, Assemblyman Marc Wheeler is executive director of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southeast Alaska. He does not work for a conservation organization. Just because you disagree with someone, Mr. Schmitz, does not give you the right to make things up about them. You owe Mr. Wheeler, and the reading public, an apology.
