Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Robert Shackel on a charge of drunken driving at 11:02 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway near Sunny Point. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a man, 31, on an assault charge at 4:35 a.m. Saturday near 10th Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.


• A car radio and compact disc player were reported stolen at 6:58 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked 1987 Ford Bronco in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.

• At 10:20 p.m. Thursday, $200 was reported stolen in the 100 block of South Franklin Street downtown.

• A mountain bike and about a dozen muskrat traps were reported stolen at 7:07 a.m. Friday near Glacier Highway.

• A locked mountain bike was reported stolen at 4:17 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Renninger Drive.

• A 15-horsepower engine and an orange bouy were reported stolen at 5:06 p.m. Friday from a skiff in Aurora Harbor.

• Police arrested a man on a vehicle theft charge at 2:41 a.m. Saturday in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway near the airport, alleging he stole a four-wheeler.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a man, 24, on a charge of careless driving after responding to a single-vehicle rollover accident at 3:30 a.m. Friday on outbound Egan Drive approaching the Mendenhall Valley. The man was determined to have been driving a 1984 Chevrolet pickup inbound when he took his eyes off the roadway, began to swerve and overcorrected, causing him to hit the median and roll.

• Police cited a woman, 18, on a charge of careless driving after a three-vehicle accident at 7:57 p.m. Friday on Egan Drive near the downtown harbors.
