Mat-Maid items will be auctioned this week

PALMER - Thousands of Matanuska Maid Dairy items at the Anchorage and Palmer facilities will be auctioned this week.

In Palmer, the equipment is divided into more than 500 lots, some of which include more than one item.

The majority of pieces actually come from two maintenance shops at the bottling facility.

State Division of Agriculture Asset Manager Ray Nix said the items to be sold range from tools to semitrailers.

An auction is set today in Palmer, both beginning at 11 a.m.
