Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

David Al Carrington, 36, was arrested for drunken driving at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday near the subport area. He also was charged with refusal to submit to a breath test. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


A woman reported at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday from Point Stephens Road the theft of her Raytheon Depthfinder, valued at $850, sometime since March.

A man reported at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday at the Juneau International Airport the theft of a laptop computer.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported Wednesday at 10:42 p.m. near Vista Drive and 5:21 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
