Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Sherri Lopez, 36, was arrested for drunken driving at 11:13 a.m. Wednesday near inbound Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A blue and white American Eagle coat with red trim was reported stolen at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Avenue. The coat is valued at $135.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• A vehicle was reported spray painted at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday near Haffner Court. Police did not have a damage estimate.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman, 19, sustained minor injuries as a result of a two-vehicle accident at 7:52 a.m. Thursday near Loop Road and Mendenhall Mall Road. A blue Volkswagen Golf, driven by the woman, rear-ended a silver Cadillac driven by a man, 54. The woman was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday near Churchill Way.

• A bear was reported trapped in the arctic entry of a home at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. The bear was able to free itself before police arrived.
