Thanks for helping testing high schoolers

Posted: Friday, May 23, 2008

The Juneau-Douglas High School administration and staff worked this year in a variety of ways to increase student success during the annual testing. We would like to thank parents who supported their children by making sure students were present, well rested and ready to test. We are also grateful to the following individuals and organizations for supporting student success through donations to provide a healthy breakfast and snack during the testing time or incentives for students.

Thank you to Jean Mischel, Julie Shelton, Kristine Lowry, Lisa Baker, Amy Skilbred, Ann Gifford, Mary Pat Schilly, Gaye Willis, Gerry Donohoe, Goldbelt, SuperBear, Food Services of America, Juneau WholeSale, Faulkner Banfield, Word of Life Christian Center, the Johnson O'Malley Program, Central Council Tlingit Haida, Juneau Education Association, Juneau Education Support Staff, the Alaska Native Sisterhood-Glacier Valley Camp 70, Les Schwab Tires, and Southeast Mine Supply. We appreciate your generous support.

Bernie Sorenson

Principal, JDHS
