JUNEAU - The City and Borough of Juneau is hosting a design contest for the logo of the new Dimond Park Aquatic Center, which is slated to open in March 2011.
The winning design will be a highly visible image that the city of Juneau hopes will become immediately identifiable to the community. It will be potentially included in marketing strategies for the new facility, including flyers, posters, and newspaper advertisements; business communication tools; and pro-shop items that will be sold at the new center (including T-shirts, sweatshirts, ball caps, key chains, water bottles, etc.)
Entries will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 31. For more information on design guidelines, entry format, submission requirements and awards, pick up a flyer at Augustus Brown Swimming Pool or at the Parks and Recreation Department office located on the second floor of City Hall.
