JUNEAU - A third labor union has ratified its collective bargaining agreement with the state.
The Department of Administration says two other agreements are pending votes. They're with the Confidential Employees Association and the state's largest bargaining unit, the general government unit of the Alaska State Employees Association, AFSCME Local 52. That unit had nearly 8,560 bargaining unit members as of last November, according to the state.
Since March, the deparment says agreements have been reached with the Teachers Education Association of Mt. Edgecumbe; the supervisory unit of the Alaska Public Employees Association; and the labor, trades and crafts bargaining unit of Public Employees Local 71.
