It should be fairly simple. Just tell the governor no to his jet plane request. Jets are flying all over the state of Alaska. The state can fly him first class on Alaska Airlines and save lease money.
I personally say no to such extravagance as a leased jet plane in the face of cutbacks to all our communities.
I would also like to say that a lot of us didn't appreciate the governor and a few henchmen commandeering the two Alaska state ferries. With the cutbacks that are being looked into in the ferry system, it seems to be outright extravagant and arrogant to do this. It not only costs a lot of money to go and come, but it disrupted the whole ferry system schedule, which is woefully inadequate as it is.
