Valley Lumber Road Race - The Juneau Freewheelers present the Valley Lumber and Building Supply Auke Rec Circuit Road Race beginning at 10 a.m. at the Auke Rec picnic area near the totem pole. Juneau Baseball Camp (ages 9-12) - The Gastineau Channel Little League is hosting its third annual Juneau Baseball Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Miller Fields located behind Glacier Valley Elementary School. The camp is available to baseball players of all skill levels and provides an outstanding learning experience for all players that want to learn the fundamentals of baseball. Crimson Bears Youth Football Camp - The Juneau-Douglas High School Crimson Bears Youth Football Camp will run from June 11-16, with Sunday off, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Early drop off begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $95 per camper or $115 with early drop off at the football field behind Floyd Dryden. Participants will also receive a t-shirt. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-12. No football experience is necessary. Registration is limited to the first 80 registrants. Juneau Parks and Recreation summer sports registration - Youth outdoor soccer for youth ages 5-18, Start Smart Soccer Program for youth ages 3-4 and the Thunder Mt. Ladies Golf Association - The LowTide Ladies Golf Association will start its season with a shotgun start at 6 p.m. at the Mendenhall Golf Course. Organizers are looking for women interested in playing golf. No prior experience is necessary to participate. Clubs and carts can be rented at the course. Participants will play every Thursday at 6 p.m. through August 20. Golfers should contact the course if weather is questionable.
