Police say man found dead on sidewalk was stabbed

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police say a 24-year-old man found dead Wednesday morning had suffered multiple stab wounds.
Edward Yazzie was found on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of Columbine Street in east Anchorage. He lived nearby.
Passers-by reported the body just after midnight. Yazzie was the city's seventh homicide of the year.
