ANCHORAGE - The Coast Guard says a cutter crew has recovered a drifting weather buoy near Homer.
The Coast Guard says the crew towed the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration buoy about 30 miles to Homer on Thursday.
The buoy was adrift since Monday and was more than 10 miles off station.
It was recovered by the cutter Roanoke Island, a patrol boat home-ported in Homer.
