The Juneau-Douglas High School girls soccer team poses with its state championship trophy after beating Service 2-1 in Saturday's title game at Wasilla High School. It is Juneau's first-ever girls soccer state title. The Crimson Bears finished the season with a perfect 16-0-0 record.

Juneau's Megan Bush competes in the girls 3,200-meter race at the state track and field meet Friday at Anchorage's Bartlett High School. Bush, who also runs cross country for the Crimson Bears, finished in seventh place.
