Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Damien Thor Arnold, 36, on a charge of drunken driving at 11:31 p.m. Monday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 24, on a charge of domestic-violence criminal mischief at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday downtown.


• A day pack was reported stolen from a vehicle at 2:58 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue. The day pack reportedly contained a Sony compact disc player, 10 CDs, medications and makeup.

• Prescription drugs were reported stolen at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday from a home in the 6000 block of Gull Way in the Lemon Creek area.


• The passenger-side door of a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe was reported scratched by a key at 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.

Vehicle accidents:

• A Jeep reportedly struck a 1992 Subaru, which in turn struck a 2000 Mazda at 4:59 p.m. Monday on Egan Drive and Mendenhall Loop Road. No injuries were reported.

Lost property:

• A visitor from Russia reported at 6:51 p.m. Monday losing 10 $100 bills and an additional $60 last week while downtown.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported tearing into a garbage shed at 8:36 p.m. Monday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.

• At 7:08 a.m. Tuesday, a bear was reported walking through the same block with a bag full of garbage.

• A bear was reported at 7:34 p.m. Monday near Renninger Drive in the Lemon Creek area.

Calls related to domestic violence: 1.
