Longtime Juneau resident Bette Marie Pearl-Gould died May 21, 2005, at her Juneau home.
She moved in 1963 to Alaska, and moved in 1973 to Juneau. She worked as a bartender, waitress, bar and restaurant manager, telephone operator, housekeeper at Pioneers' Home and as an airport parking ticket attendant.
She enjoyed boating, fishing and living the Alaska life.
She is survived by her husband, Jack E. Gould of Juneau; her daughters, Venus L. Pearl of Anchorage and Trudy G. Bent of Alberta, Va.; her sons, Earl D. Bell of Portland, Ore., Ken Martin of Salem, Ore., Kevin W. Bell of Queen Valley, Ariz. and Dan D. Bell of Central Point, Ore.
