Former Juneau resident Daniel Holden Buckner, 53, died May 10, 2005, in Tucson, Ariz.
He was born Nov. 3, 1951, in Bremerton, Wash. He lived until 1960 in Juneau and Ketchikan.
He was a shipwright in Puget Sound and worked in a naval shipyard in Bremerton. He served with the Navy in Vietnam.
He is survived by his partner, Mercy from Tucson; his ex-wife and best friend, Mona from Belfair, Wash.; his sons, Holden from Tucson, Richard from Belfair, Wash., and Robert from Poulsbo, Wash.; his daughter, Jamie from Spanaway, Wash.; his brothers, Raymond Lee and Patrick Fagg of Juneau; his sisters Donna Arnold and Vera Schwarberg of Seattle, Wash.; and his mother, Carmen Fagg of Juneau.
A memorial service was held May 21 in Shoreline, Wash.
