Juneau resident Lyman Arthur Woodman, 96, died May 10, 2006, in Juneau.

He was born Nov. 11, 1909, in Bath, Mich. He graduated from Bath High School and Michigan State University in East Lansing. He was a Juneau resident for 46 years and an accountant for the Alaska Highway Department, New Mexico Highway Department and Packard Motor Car Co. He was a life member of Mount Juneau Gastineau Lodge No. 21, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and Nile Shriners. He was also a Bartlett Regional Hospital benefactor.
Family members said he would "want to thank everyone at Wildflower Court who made these last few years a joy."
No services were scheduled, per Woodman's request. His and his wife Edna's ashes will be spread on a future date at The Breadline, near Juneau.
