Anchorage bar fight ends with shooting

ANCHORAGE - An argument outside an Anchorage bar ended with shots fired.

Police say 25-year-old James Blair was charged with assault and jailed after he allegedly shot another man in the leg and arm outside a bar in the Fairview neighborhood.

The victim was 23-year-old Adrian Beaver.

Witnesses say they saw two men arguing Saturday afternoon outside Barry's Lounge and then one of the men drew a gun and shot the other one.

Police say both the shooter and victim were uncooperative with police.

Police say the shooter fled and was chased by two witnesses who are members of the military.
