Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while Intoxicated:
Aaron Jeremy Stalnaker, 25, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Saturday near Radcliffe Road for drunken driving and two counts of reckless endangerment. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Assaults:
A man, 48, was arrested on two charges of assault at about 6 p.m. Friday near Northwood Drive. He was lodged at the state prison.
A man, 33, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault and three outstanding warrants. He was lodged at the state prison.
Thefts:
At 3:30 p.m. Friday from Glacier Highway a woman reported that $200 was stolen from her purse.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
At 4 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road a woman reported that the rear window on her 1996 Pontiac Grand Am was broken.
Animal encounters:
At 1:30 a.m. Friday near Tongass Boulevard a bear was reported dragging garbage around.
At 4:10 p.m. Friday near Montogomery Street a woman reported two bears in her backyard.
At 11:15 p.m. Friday near Lemon Creek a bear was reported.
At 11:45 p.m. Friday a bear was reported in Cope Park.
At 2 a.m. Saturday near Aspen Drive a bear was reported knocking over garbage cans.
Other:
A man, 71, was arrested about 8:45 p.m. Friday near Teal Street on a warrant charging failure to appear in court. He was taken to the state prison.
A woman, 33, was arrested at 9 p.m. Friday near Davis Street on a warrant charging failure to appear in court. She was taken to the state prison.
A man, 21, was arrested at 3 a.m. Saturday near Egan Drive on a state troopers warrant for failure to pay fines. He was lodged at the state prison.
