Offering moral support, but unable to vote

I just went down to the Mendenhall Mall to vote on the new school but apparently because I am not a U.S. citizen I cannot vote. I can understand that I can't vote for who is going to be president or who the next senator of Alaska will be, but I have lived in Juneau almost nine years. I have been paying taxes for almost nine years and I have two kids that have been in the Juneau School District for nine years. I feel that my vote should count in this election. So although they won't let me vote, those of you who voted "no" for the new high school, I support you.
