Organization description: The Family Resource Center provides a comprehensive array of program services in a healthy accessible environment for children and families in need of assistance, to enhance the health, harmony and self-sufficiency of families. The Resource Center's areas involvement include: health and human services, parents and families, information and referral services, disabilities and independent living.

Volunteer positions available: Volunteers are needed to help facilitate evening adult education classes in financial literacy, parenting and other subjects. Cooks are needed prior to classes. Volunteers may serve as mentors for the Children of Incarcerated Parents program. All volunteers must be willing to commit to a long-term engagement and be part of substantial training and extensive background checks prior to participation.
