Marilyn Attla of Huslia and Leonard John Sr. of Juneau will be married at 6 p.m. June 17, 2005, at Door of Hope Church in Fairbanks. The reception will be at David Salmon Tribal Hall.
She is the daughter of George Attla Jr. and Shirley Vent. She went to Tanana High School. She works as a physician assistant at Tanana Chiefs Conference.
He is the son of Elsie John and the late Ronald John Sr. He attended Juneau-Douglas High School. He is the executive director of Kootznoowoo Cultural and Educational Foundation.
The maid of honor will be Sandy Koyukuk. Bridesmaids will be Mary Ann Sam, Bev Sam, Cynthia Beatus, and daughter, Tawnie Attla.
The best man will be Tony Delia. Groomsmen will be Mike Curtis; Doug Yates Jr.; son-in-law, Vince Melendrez; and son, Leonard John Jr.
The flower girls are Rebecca, Kimberly, Jaeda and Tiana. The ringbearers are Zachary and Steven.
The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii and make Fairbanks their home.
