The Juneau-Douglas High School baseball team closed out their regular season with a 10-0 win over Southeast Conference rival Wrangell Sunday at Adair-Kennedy field.

Damon Ludwig pitched a complete game for the Crimson Bears (11-4 overall, 10-3 SEC), who take the top seed into the weekend's Region V Tournament at Ketchikan. Ludwig allowed one hit, no runs and one walk in the victory.

The JDHS offense cranked out 10 hits against Wrangell starter Cody Rashmore, who was a victim of nine unearned runs from fielding errors. Rashmore allowed just four hits, while walking five batters and striking out three.

Ryan Kelly, Dominic Holloway and Lance Ibesate each picked up a hit in the game for the Bears. Holloway and Ibesate added an RBI apiece.

Eric James had Wrangell's only hit of the game.
