Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Yvonne Marie Dennis, 35, on charges of drunken driving and driving on a revoked license at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday on Egan Drive at Channel Visa Drive. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle she was driving.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 43, on a charged of domestic-violence assault at 12:25 a.m. Thursday in Douglas. They lodged him at the state prison.


• Police arrested a man, 21, on charges of resisting arrest and harassment at 11:19 p.m. Wednesday near Egan Drive and Willoughby Avenue. They lodged him at the state prison.


• At 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported his cellular telephone was stolen Tuesday from his unlocked Toyota truck near Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 12:53 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported a cellular telephone taken from a vehicle in the Juneau area.

• At 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported his wallet containing $1,500 was stolen Monday night near Echo Cove.


• A woman reported at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday that her 1991 Ford Escort was vandalized sometime in the previous two days while parked near Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

• A man reported at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday that his 2001 Ford truck was scratched with a key earlier in the evening while it was parked near Auke Lake Way. No damage estimate was available.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 51, who was operating a street sweeper, on a charge of failing to yield, after an accident that occurred at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday on inbound Egan Drive. The street sweeper allegedly struck a 1994 Plymouth Voyager driven by a woman, 49. Damage to the street sweeper was estimated at $500. Damage to the Voyager was estimated at $4,000.

• Police cited a woman, 23, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic at 3 p.m. Wednesday after a three-vehicle accident on the Douglas Bridge. The woman was driving a 1995 Honda Civic that allegedly hit a 1993 Honda Civic, driven by a man, 37. He had stopped for a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by a woman, 18, whose vehicle had broken down. The Chevrolet reportedly was not damaged. Damage to each of the other Hondas was estimated at $1,500.

• Police cited a man, 26, who was operating a Lexus at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday on Riverside Drive and Egan Drive, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic. The Lexus allegedly struck a 1988 Plymouth Sundance, operated by a man, 39. The Plymouth sustained $1,000 in damage. The Lexus sustained $500 in damage.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday that her 1995 Chevrolet truck was struck by an unknown vehicle near Willoughby Avenue. The passenger side of her vehicle was dented and scratched.

• A woman reported at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday that her Subaru Forester was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked near Commercial Boulevard in Lemon Creek. Damage was estimated at $300.

• Police located a Dodge truck, operated by a man, 18, at 11:07 a.m. Thursday after the vehicle allegedly struck a traffic cone at outbound Egan Drive at Highland Drive. The vehicle allegedly caused the cone to fly up and strike a 2003 Dodge Caravan, which sustained dents to the front bumper.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a woman, 19, on a charge of underage drinking at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday near Postal Way in the Mendenhall Valley.

Animal encounters:

• At 10:27 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported there was a bear near Foster Avenue in West Juneau.
