Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Driving while intoxicated:

• Police cited 27-year-old Rachel Gaetano on a charge of drunken driving at 5:20 a.m. Sunday on Valley Boulevard. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 25-year-old woman on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 9:01 p.m. Saturday near the airport. They lodged her at the state prison.

• After responding to a reported altercation at 9:56 p.m. Saturday, police located and arrested a 23-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault in the Mendenhall Valley.

Assault:

• Police arrested a 48-year-old man on a charge of assault at 5:32 p.m. Saturday near Front and Seward streets downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested a 23-year-old man on a warrant charging him with assault at 10:46 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of West Ninth Street downtown. Another warrant charged him with failing to appear in a Juneau court on another assault charge. They lodged him at the state prison.

Theft:

• Gasoline valued at $35.12 was reported stolen at 7:17 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard in the valley.

Shoplifting:

• Police cited a 23-year-old woman on a shoplifting charge at 4:49 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.

• Police arrested a 27-year-old man on a charge of concealing merchandise at 6:02 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. They lodged him at the state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

• A Ford driven by a 35-year-old woman reportedly hit a a parked Toyota Corolla at 12:02 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Cascade Street in the airport area.

• A passenger sustained a minor injury in an accident at 1:15 p.m. Saturday on Vintage Boulevard near Egan Drive. A Ford Escape driven by a 67-year-old woman reportedly hit a Dodge Neon driven by a 25-year-old woman.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 4:08 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway in the Jordan Creek area after citing the driver, a 16-year-old boy, on a charge of driving without a license. From the same incident, police cited a 17-year-old boy on a charge of underage drinking.
