Longtime Juneau resident Steven Jones died Jan. 31, 2009, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 61.
He is well known for playing the lead roles in The Gold Nugget Review and the Grumpsicle, his family said. He was an active member of the Juneau Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his father, Barton Jones; sisters, Catherine Dean and Suzanne Burnham, of Cincinnati; sons, Quinton Jones, of San Francisco, and Dylan Jones, of Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Jessica Jones, of Seattle; and step-children, Devra Hayes and Dustin Roberts, of Juneau.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. June 6 at the Juneau Moose Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juneau Moose Lodge, St. Stephens Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society.
