KETCHIKAN - State Rep. Kyle Johansen wants a third term.
The Ketchikan Republican announced Wednesday at a Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce meeting that he will seek re-election next year.
He was first elected in 2006 after first defeating incumbent Rep. Jim Elkins in the GOP primary. He was unopposed in 2008.
Johansen, who is the House Majority Leader, has no announced challengers.
