Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


A girl, 15, was arrested about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday for fourth-degree assault and two counts of assaulting an officer. She was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.


A boy reported at 9 p.m. Tuesday the theft of a backpack containing a CD player and CDs at Juneau-Douglas High School.

Underage drinking:

Two boys, age 16 and 17, were cited for underage drinking about 12:15 a.m. today near Lemon Creek Road.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A man reported at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on South Franklin Street hit-and-run damage to his parked and unoccupied vehicle.


Troopers reported Tuesday that the Pelican village public safety officer arrested a Juneau man, 49, Sunday in Pelican on a warrant for second-degree theft. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

A girl, 13, was arrested about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday near Mark Allen Avenue on an outstanding Juneau troopers' warrant for failure to satisfy a judgment for underage drinking.

Fish net pens at Auke Bay and Fish Creek Pond were recently vandalized, the state Department of Fish and Game reported. The pens hold king salmon smolts, which will be released into the wild. Anyone who witnesses vandalism to net pens should call the agency at 465-4320.
