Girls Scouts hold annual Day Camp for girls

JUNEAU - The Tongass Alaska Girl Scout Council will hold its annual Girl Scout Day Camp, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 10 through 13 and 1 to 6 p.m. June 14, at Chapel by the Lake. There also will be an optional sleepover on June 13. The camp is for local girls entering first through fourth grades.

At camp, themed - "Into the Wild!" girls will experience fly fishing, explore the wetlands and fish habitat, and do crafts, games and songs.

Camp costs $60. Registration is due no later than Wednesday. For more information, call the Girl Scout office at 586-1710.
