Public shouldn't do Forest Service's job regarding cabins

The U.S. Forest Service cabins are indeed important, but the answer is not for the public to do the job that the Forest Service is tasked.

Sound off on the important issues at

Perhaps the Forest Service should take a good look at the public "service" part of the organization and cut some of the middle management positions, sell some of the Dodge Ram monster trucks, cancel a few helicopter junkets, cancel some of the goofy timber sale offerings and analyses that lead to exorbitant legal expenses, and take care of the public cabins.
