Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Driving while intoxicated:

• Police arrested 25-year-old non-Juneau resident Andrew Bell on a charge of drunken driving at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday on Mendenhall Loop Road near Cinema Drive. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a 24-year-old man on a charge of trespassing at 9:15 p.m. Monday near Behrends Avenue downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.


• About 15 gallons of gasoline were reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive near the airport.


• At 3:21 p.m. Monday, graffiti vandalism was reported to at least two vehicles, storage containers and a building in the 8600 block of Airport Boulevard.

• A mailbox was reported vandalized at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 9300 block of Rivercourt Way in the Mendenhall Valley.

• Graffiti was reported spray painted on a car at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway near the airport.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 1986 Subaru station wagon sustained an estimated $3,000 in damage when it reportedly struck a 1997 Honda Civic at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday on Glacier Highway at Peterson Hill. The Subaru was driven by a 50-year-old man. The Honda, driven by a 33-year-old man, sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage. It was pushed into a 1999 Ford truck driven by a 41-year-old man. Minor damage was reported to the truck.

• At 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, minor damage was reported to a 1994 Honda, driven by a 17-year-old boy, when it reportedly struck a 1994 Jeep.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 7:31 p.m. Monday at Glacier Highway and Dunn Street near the airport after citing the driver, a 25-year-old man, on charges of driving without a license and speeding.
