Alaska State NRA Sporting Rifle Championship Match: Sign-up at 8 a.m. at the Hank Harmon Rifle Range. Shoot begins at 9. Info: 789-1717.

Historic Treadwell Ditch Run: Race starts 1:30 p.m. at Sandy Beach. Course runs through the Treadwell Trail up to 5th Street in Douglas. Finishes at the Blueberry Hill Water Tower. Risk-filled race. Cost: $5. Info: Paul Pusich, 780-6987.
