Driving while intoxicated:
Dennis Robert Berkeley, 58, was cited for drunken boating at 5:45 p.m. Saturday near Icy Point after being contacted south of Juneau by the U.S. Coast Guard.
John Vavalis, 21, was arrested for drunken driving at 5:54 a.m. Sunday near outbound Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Loop Road. He was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
James Tunnicliff, 37, was arrested for drunken driving at 8:37 a.m. Sunday near South Franklin Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and charged with reckless endangerment and fourth degree misconduct involving weapons. His car was impounded.
A man, 49, driving a 1989 GMC truck reported at 1:44 p.m. Saturday that he backed into a parked 1999 Subaru Legacy near Delta Drive. The GMC was not damaged and the Subaru sustained damaged to the hood and grill.
A woman, 51, was cited at 11:12 a.m. Sunday for failing to exercise due caution to avoid an accident after driving her red 2003 Subaru into a green 2002 Jeep near Spruce Street. The Jeep driver, a 52-year-old woman, was cited for parking facing the wrong direction.
A woman, 18, reported at 6:12 p.m. Saturday that her vehicle was rifled sometime over the night near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. A discman, worth $100 and $200, and compact discs, worth about $3,000, were stolen.
A man, 51, reported at 10:02 p.m. Saturday that two blue, cotton blankets were stolen from his laundry, near South Franklin Street. The value of the blankets was $20.
A woman, 31, reported at 2:13 p.m. Friday that a girl's 16-inch Magna purple bicycle has been stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. near Slate Drive. The bike was worth $100.
A man, 49, reported at 6:41 p.m. Saturday that his cassette player, worth $250, was stolen sometime in the last three weeks near North Douglas Highway.
A woman, 25, reported at 9:22 p.m. Saturday that a silver Olympus digital stylus camera, worth $379, and $70 in cash were stolen from an unlocked green 2003 Honda Element near Tongass Boulevard.
A man, 35, reported at 9:27 a.m. Sunday that a green boys BMX bike, worth $500, and a silver Razor scooter, worth $100, were stolen the previous night near Pine Street. The bike was discovered in a nearby ditch but was damaged beyond repair.
A woman, 51, reported at 7:51 p.m. Saturday that a side window of her 2002 Silver Honda had been broken near Cinema Drive while she was away from her vehicle. Damage was estimated at $450.
A man, 29, reported at 9:55 p.m. Saturday that his 1997 Plymouth Neon was keyed near Long Run Drive. The incident caused about $300 in damage.
A man, 25, reported at 12:14 a.m. Sunday that his 1993 Dodge van had been vandalized near Douglas Highway. Two tires were slashed and side molding was ripped. The replacement tires and molding are estimated to be worth $250.
A woman, 34, reported at 2:20 a.m. Sunday that her vehicle had been vandalized near South Franklin Street. There was $300 worth of damage to the vehicle.
Three men, 28, 22 and 23, were cited for criminal trespass at 8:07 p.m. Saturday near Anka Street in Lemon Creek.
A caller reported at 9:54 p.m. Saturday that a bear in his yard, near North Douglas Highway, knocked down a fence and wandered away.
A man, 18, was cited at 12:02 a.m. Sunday near South Franklin Street for minor consuming.
