Sage Davenport ripped a two-run double in the bottom of the final inning to lift the Cardinals past a game Orioles squad in major softball action last week by a score of 10-8.
Davenport recorded two hits while Savana Petrie, Kaci Hansen and Jennifer Nelson each scored twice for the Cardinals.
Nelson earned the pitching win, striking out eight batters in four innings.
For the Orioles, Kalea Chapman had three hits and scored three times.
Megan Wright and Cassie Anderson each had two runs scored for the Os.
Cardinals def. Mariners
Kaci Hansen, Jennifer Nelson, Sage Davenport and Alissa Hulbert scored three runs each to lead the Cardinals past the Mariners.
Kelsey Riederer, Hansen and Nelson combined to fan seven batters over four innings for the Cardinals.
Marlins 10, Orioles 9
Keaunna Miller struck out five hits and yielded just two runs over the last two innings as the Marlins edged the Orioles.
For the Orioles, Megan Wright and Kelsey Monagle hit doubles while Amanda Gile and Kalea Chapman smacked home runs.
Astros def. Royals
Kyle Gould and Christian Gould each hit three-run home runs for the Astros in the third inning.
For the Royals, Jahbril Flores had a two-run single in the second inning.
Royals 9, Devil Rays 7
Kohl Jaeger went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs as the Royals nipped the Devil Rays.
Tod Baseden and Joe Spencer each had RBI singles in the win. Baseden, playing catcher for the Royals made three put-outs in the win.
Zach Cuddihy earned the win after pitching three innings.
For the Devil Rays, Jack Grummett pitched a complete game and drove in two runs off two doubles from the plate.
Kurt Vandor kept the Devil Rays in the game with a towering solo home run to deep left-center field.
Mariners def. Devil Rays
Tyler Moss' triple helped the Mariners top the Devil Rays.
Brady Groghan earned the win with six strikeouts, four walks and two hits.
Josh Magnuson and Brenden Winters pitched in relief.
Moss had two hits, Paul Wisner doubled while Trevor Hamm, Peter Jorgenson and Groghan all singled.
Alex Campbell and Keith Andrews singled for the Devil Rays, who did not commit one error.
A's 8, Mariners 5
Garrett Cheeseman pitched a two-hitter to lead the A's past the Mariners.
Cheeseman struck out 12 batters over five innings to earn the win.
Matt Whistler drove in a run, Cheeseman and Edward Hurtte each singled and Zander Hoke doubled for the A's.
A trio of pitchers - Peter Jorgenson, Josh Magnuson, and Brady Groghan - combined to keep the A's hitless for the final five innings.
For the Mariners, Matt Summery hit a two-run double and Magnuson doubled.
