Trout Street bridge to close indefinitely

JUNEAU - The Jordan Creek Bridge on Trout Street will be closed until further notice.

Juneau Streets Division Superintendent Mike Scott said the bridge has a hole in it large enough to damage a tire of a small car.

He said engineers will determine how to fix the bridge on Monday.

"We just want to make sure that we don't have an incident over the weekend," Scott said.

Scott said the closure will not seriously affect traffic in the area.
