Saturday's 11th annual Sea Coast Relay drew 128 participants on 28 teams for a run in segments from Mendenhall River School to Eagle Beach.
"It was a rainy day, but everybody braved the elements and everybody had a great time regardless of the constant drizzle," said race director Ken Maas.
The course was divided into five relay segments of three to five miles each. Four teams of two and 24 team of five ran the race.
Maas noted that the race featured more young runners than ever before.
Complete results will be published in the Empire later this week.
