The trial for a 43-year-old Ketchikan man accused of possessing child pornography will be delayed.
Patrick J. Durkin was scheduled to go to trial Tuesday in Ketchikan Superior Court. However, during a Thursday hearing, his attorney, Louis Menendez, requested a delay. Menendez said he has not yet received all the information pertinent to his client's case.
Durkin was charged in February with eight counts of possessing child pornography.
Judge Michael Thompson set a hearing for 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Ketchikan Superior Court to determine a new trial date.
