Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• At 3:26 a.m. Saturday, troopers received a report of an assault in Angoon. A man, 22, reportedly sustained a broken leg and was taken to Sitka after he was initially treated at the Angoon Medical Center. Troopers reported that he and a man he had been drinking with were involved in an altercation. Their investigation continues.

• At 3:10 p.m. Saturday, troopers received a report of a woman, 32, allegedly assaulting a girl, 14, by hitting her and pulling her hair. Troopers arrested the woman on the assault charge and lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center after receiving a report that the woman had created a disturbance Sunday at an Angoon residence.


• At 12:03 p.m. Monday, a woman reported a men's 24-speed mountain bike was stolen on May 13 or May 14 near Riverside Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The bike was worth about $100.

• A white Diamondback bicycle was reported stolen at 12:23 p.m. Monday near Coogan Drive in the Lemon Creek area. The bike was worth $400.

• At 5:45 p.m. Monday, a man reported a box of medical supplies was stolen last week near South Franklin Street.


• At 5:02 a.m. Tuesday, a woman reported that someone had broken into her residence the previous night near Thunder Street in the Mendenhall Valley. Items reportedly were taken, but there was no estimate on the loss.

Vehicle rifling:

• A man reported at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday that the unlocked canopied bed of his pickup truck was rifled during the weekend near Lund Street in Lemon Creek. Nothing was reported stolen.


• A loading ramp was reported burned at 12:31 p.m. Monday near Montana Creek Road. The ramp was worth $200.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman reported at 5:18 p.m. Monday that she was operating a 2004 Dodge Durango that backed over a road sign posting a 20 mph speed limit on Long Run Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The sign was bent, and damage was reported to the vehicle's rear bumper.

• Two people were taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation after the vehicles they were driving were involved in an accident at 7:57 p.m. Monday on Industrial Boulevard. The woman, 19, who was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota, was cited on a charge of negligent driving. A boy, 17, driving a 1979 Ford pickup, was cited on a charge of failing to use a seatbelt. Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $6,000. The Ford reportedly was totaled.

• Two vehicles were involved in an accident at 9:56 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway. A 2000 Ford Explorer reportedly backed into a 1993 Ford truck as it was pulling into the area. Damage to the truck was estimated at $500 to $1,000. The Explorer reportedly sustained a scuffed bumper.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 11:14 a.m. Tuesday that an unknown vehicle struck his boat near Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. The accident left the boat with a scratch.
