For gentle Cloey, birds are of no consequence

Cloey is a shorthaired calico cat with friendly, gentle ways. This 5-year-old, spayed female was put up for adoption because a new, human baby is due any day. Cloey lives happily either indoors or as an indoor-outdoor cat. She does not hunt birds.

Will work for love

Sierra is an Australian cattle dog, a working breed that needs a job to do.

This one-year-old, spayed female is sociable, affectionate and very smart. She is ready for training and would be a natural as an agility dog or in obedience competition.

Sierra and Cloey are available for adoption at the Gastineau Humane Society, 789-0260.
