Former Juneau resident Linda Carol Booth, 59, died April 29, 2004, in Portland, Ore., of complications related to pneumonia.
She was born April 4, 1945, in Portales, N.M., to Frank O. and Norma (Hale) Booth. The family came to Juneau in 1956 and she attended grade school and high school. She moved to Oregon in 1963 and attended Oregon State University.
Her family wrote, "One of her best qualities was her sense of humor. Linda loved her family and was a faithful friend."
She was preceded in death by her mother, who died in 1989.
She is survived by her 92-year old father; son, Jason A. Booth of Boulder, Colo.; and sister, Marilyn Booth-Love of Portland, Ore.
