In all the discussions, it's obvious that Northern Dynasty is a "junior" mining company who does not have any current mining activities under its belt. At the meeting in Newhalen in April, they said themselves that it is not very often that a junior mining company actually operates the mine.
My question is this: If everything pans out and shows promise for development, might Northern Dynasty sell out to a "major?" And if they do, who is to say that the new company will uphold the same promises and policies Northern Dynasty has made? Just food for thought.
