Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A video plotter and a video depth sounder were reported stolen from a boat at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday in Harris Harbor.

• Lumber valued at $2,000 was reported at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday stolen from a construction site in the 8400 block of Valley Boulevard.

• Jewelry valued at $2,900 was reported stolen at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday from a home in the Point Lena area. The jewelry included a gold nugget necklace, a gold nugget and diamond pendant, gold earrings and a gold nugget bracelet.

Hit and run:

• At 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, an unattended 2003 Toyota was reported struck by an unknown vehicle somewhere in Juneau.

• At 7:11 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of West 10th Street, a small silver or gray pickup was reported to have hit a Ford van driven by a man, 26. The pickup reportedly didn't stop. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Melissa Drive in the Mendenhall Valley after citing the driver, a boy, 16, on a charge of driving without a license.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported seen at 7:34 a.m. Wednesday in the area of the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
