ANCHORAGE - The Coast Guard has located four whalers from Koyuk who had been reported overdue from a trip in Norton Bay, east of Nome.
Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says the Coast Guard picked up the four beluga hunters on Tuesday. There were no reported injuries, and they have been returned to Koyuk.
The four took shelter after winds picked up. They were expected home early Monday at the latest.
