WRANGELL - Alaska State Troopers say a Wasilla hunting guide was fatally shot during a guided brown bear hunt near Wrangell.

Troopers say the Sunday shooting appeared to have been an accident and there was no indication of foul play.

A statement from troopers on Monday says 50-year-old Bret Millo was shot by 51-year-old Ralph E. Delius of West Bloomfield, Mich.

Troopers and the Wrangell Police Department are investigating.
