Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly before midnight Friday, Kelly Mathew Hulse, 22, was arrested near Powers Street for driving while intoxicated and for driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.10 percent. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts, lost/found items:

A man, 35, reported about 7 a.m. Friday that a custom-made bumper was stolen from the bed of his truck parked on Glacier Highway. There were no leads or suspects.

About 11 a.m. Friday, a red women's bicycle was turned in to police. It was found on Glacier Spur Road.

Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, a boy, 13, reported the theft of a Sony Discman, a CD case with CDs, and a wallet from his backpack at the Mendenhall Glacier.

About 7 p.m. Friday, someone turned a wallet found at Moose On The Loose in to the Juneau Police Department.


Police arrested a woman, 40, at Centennial Hall about 2 p.m. Friday for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and assault. She was also arrested on an outstanding JPD warrant for failure to comply with conditions of sentencing. She was lodged at state prison.


A man (age unknown) reported about 10 p.m. Friday from Gold Street that a man unknown to him was passed out in his apartment. The intoxicated man, 41, was arrested for trespassing and for interfering with an officer. He was lodged at state prison on $1,000 bail.

Vehicle accidents:

Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4:28 p.m. Friday on Egan Drive. The accident involved a Mercury Sable driven by a girl, 17, and a Chevrolet pickup driven by a woman, 30. One injured person was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital.

About 4:43 p.m. Friday, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident at Peterson Hill (Mile 11 Glacier Highway). Three vehicles were involved: a Ford pickup driven by a man, 28; a Subaru driven by a man, 26; and a Ford flatbed, driven by a man, 47. The 28-year-old was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance. There were no injuries.

Warrant arrests:

About 3 a.m. Saturday, a man, 30, was arrested at a downtown bar on an outstanding JPD warrant and lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved.

Underage drinking:

About 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a boy, 15, was issued a citation at Third and Main for minor consuming. He was driven home and released to his father.


Capital City Fire & Rescue responded about 10:30 p.m. Friday to a fire alarm in the Mountain View Apartments on 12th Street.

Capital City Fire & Rescue responded about 6:30 a.m. Saturday to a fire alarm at Zach Gordon Youth Center.


About 1 a.m. Saturday, a woman, 37, was arrested for being intoxicated on a licensed premises, the Arctic Bar. She was lodged at state prison.

About 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a woman, 34, was arrested on Del Rae Road for driving without a valid operator's license. She was released at the scene. The vehicle was released to her passenger, a man, 26. Alcohol was involved in the incident.
